winter duldrum
Thanks to everyone for the recent comments and all of the support.
Winter has brought on a sort of stagnation as far as my cycling goes. On top of going to school full time and working 2 shifts at work, let's face it, riding in the cold and rain just kind of sucks.
I need to suck it up though. Just received an email yesterday from a teammate about a charity event in Los Altos on Feb 10 to benefit cancer patients and their families. It a short 25 mile race along the Portola loop. I have ridden this route numerous times as it is our usual recovery ride. The event is called Breakaway from Cancer and will be put on by 10 time Tour de France veteran George Hincapie. Now to take my bike out for a spin or two to make sure it and my legs still work....
